Yes, I do think that branding Bangladesh focusing at different areas like- culture, tourism industry, people, sports etc. can result in an outstanding growth of economy as well as an intense development of the standard of living of our people. But it is to be done only by our respective will & way. So a question really lies here that will we be capable and honest enough to contribute?
Best wishes for everyone who take initiatives to brand Bangladesh in front of the whole world!!!!!!!

Good Initiative,

I think we should to start sooner rather than later. Because now everything can be present as commodity. So we should to focus on competitive advantages what we have. Not only nature our human capital also can be a focusing area for branding.

Young entrepreneurs should come forward to moving ahead such move. Wish you all the best!

Regards

Wow. Great thinking!

In fact there are a large number of things that Bangladesh can do - one is to promote eco tourism. Bangladesh has a rich base of rivers and waterways. It can come up with resorts in the rural areas. Wildlife tourism is another area where it has strengths. It should also embrace labour intensive industries such as printing and train its people in them. Another area is to find niche markets for products such as Bangladeshi cotton and the likes. Nation branding will take you a long way ahead. As a person who heads research for Brand India, I see no reason why Bangladesh cannot emulate the success stories of other developing countries in building nation brands. Bangladesh should turn inward and identify its own strengths rather than trying to copy India's IT model or China's manufacturing model. All the best...
